I had the privilege of backing a singer who had chops like this. Her problem was that she preferred to sing crap lioke Melissa Etheridge and Alanis Morissette and Pink. My problem was that, although I could play her music, I was so bored with it that I found it an irresistible temptation to "spice it up"
