While the owner of the chain may indeed be a Democrat, that sign has to be the most transparently cynical expression of self-interest possible. "Please don't break our windows and we'll pretend to be down with your struggle by giving our staff a day off without pay"

 If that's the case it show a complete lack of character and gives yet another reason not to shop there. Either way it's a screw them moment.

Looks like I won't shop there again. I bought a few suit in the past because I didn't want to spend a whole lot on a suit I might wear once or twice a year. There are plenty of other places to go. I just might stop by and tell the store manager that I will tell others who are in the same situation as I was. I'm sure I can convince many to ignore this POS store. Might only be a few thousand a year, but it might get around to others.
