You know, Alaska is only two miles from Asia, which is probably why one can see Asia from Alaska.

Just sayin' in a helpful sort way for everyone burdened with a Journalism degree, who find stating facts worthy of scorn.

I am not amused and I don't think he "made a mistake"; he's deliberately altering the way such things are viewed by introducing new language about them.  It's alarming.

What other American president would EVER refer to Hawaii as anything other than a state?

It is alarming.  To us anyway, the rest of America?  Who knows, too many sheeple out there willing to go along quietly to the latest outrage du juor...

And no other president would utter such drivel, so when this guy says it...I half wonder if the price for ChiCom loan forgiveness isn't being floated!

People in Hawaii should be outraged the most, so far I hear nothing from them or their representatives in DC!

Well, well, well - straight from the donkey's mouth! He WASN'T born in the US after all...he was indeed born in Asia! The Birther's were right all along!

Ok, seriously now: This gaff seems to indicate one of two things to me;

1) Complete and utter 'Bush-like' stupidity

                       OR

2) Freudian slip. Indicating that he actually was born somewhere other than the US, namely Asia.

When he is unelected his successor and those successors to
the libertines in congress should straighten the record and
burn it into the memories of the world. They should do this
by enumeration of fault and by penalty for deed.

If they do not do that we will merely be at a plateau on a
downward slope.
