Political Polling (this is funny)
« on: November 28, 2011, 06:08:39 PM »
Ok twice in two minutes I have been polled.

Asked

1. Didn't catch the name of who but the first question was am I employed by anybody associated with a Campaign ...No

2. Do I watch the news or blog about politics. Yes .....

Thank you sir that's all.......So I ask What do you just want to talk to the uniformed?..........IN the receiver....Ya HAHAHAHA...I S to GOD

The second call was from Conquest polling which I believe is working for Santorum.

1. If I was voting in the Iowa caucuses....Yes

2. First question thinking of voting for?
The first person was Santorum...I said no and they said Thank You Sir.

I'm not sure how they got my number? (Maybe when I volunteered
for the Iowa Straw Poll)

But talk about PUSH POLLING  ::cussing:: ::cussing::

 ::hysterical::

If you vote, they can buy voter lists.  I am unlisted but still get random calls, if I don't know the name/number on caller ID, I let it ring...

I was in that mode years ago, so I completely understand.

An airhorn in the receiver for libnut pollers was a show stopper for me!   ::evil::

Now, I give my BP a rest.

Glad someone is carrying on with the torment though!   ::thumbsup::   ::USA::

I screen my calls.  In 2010 when I realized I was getting a lot of polling calls I started to answer them.  Some days in 2010 I'd get 2-3 a day--otherwise 2-3 a week--on issues and candidates.  I'd raced across the house to get to the phone before the answering machine picked up.

Depending on my mood I'd answer in such a way to keep them polling me (say I was independent, undecided, etc)

Out here the only people who call to poll are leftists so IMO they're fair game.

I'm usually pretty good about deciphering their agenda and tailoring my answers to please them.....right up to the point where I go insane. My favorite is to say all the right things to show support for their (lefty) candidate and then reveal that I'm KKK or a pedophile or a psyche ward escapee.
