But, Haley fooled me, too
I thought she was the real deal.

It could just be that in spite of Romney's flip-flopping, unprincipled past, people are being sold on his conservative rhetoric. Let's face it - IF Romney were to govern how he's been saying he'll govern for the last 6 years, we could be looking at the next Ronald Reagan.

Now: it's up to each individual to decide whether they believe the new Mitt Romney or the old Mitt Romney is the real Mitt Romney. Like Haley, apparently some people believe they are looking at the real thing. My problem is that as far as I can tell the answer is both and neither.

Man, I hope so.

I just see Romney as a good lookin guy who has made his bucks and now wants to do something "important." Like run the largest economy in the world. He is saying the right things about the importance of America's place in the world and has promised to support Israel. Then again, he could be a RINO version of Eddie Haskell, the butt-kisser in the iconic Leave it to Beaver.

I can perhaps understand Nikki Haley and Ann Coulter jumping on the Mitt Wagon, but National Freakin Review? I don't get it.

National Review is not exactly the epitome of conservative thinking, hasn't been in a long while.

As for the rest, I grow weary of the whole issue.  Somebody will get elected; whoever does won't be able to avert TSHTF, may be able to mitigate the worst of it (or at least not make it worse, maybe), but, some say, will bear the brunt of the opprobrium simply for being in office when it does all fall down.  And so on and so on.

Whatever's going to happen will happen; we'll slog through the best we can and eventually be done here and off to Greener Pastures.

They sold him to Haley.  Was it necessary to convince her
that they already can deliver Fl and Tx and whatever other
big one he needs to put him over?  If so, it would be interesting
to know the SOBs in Fl and Tx that made those sales.
