Rush said it the other day.  If he would just tie half his brain behind his back.

Hey, it will be either him sending the country to hell or
Obama sending the country to hell or the chance that
he uses the conservative side of his brain and saves
the nation.

The choice is clear, save your liver.

This is scary, not the superficial were they dealing part but the
sophisticated level of involvement in world affairs.

Most politicians couldn't operate their own business, as Savage says of Lieberman, " he would own a Buick dealership".  (If you're too young, Buick was known as "the doctors car".
Here we have the man and wife as high level independent operators each.  And at this
time, working together.

This is an important article, maybe I'm the only person not aware of this, if a person
is interested in getting a handle on how involved or complex Newt is or how involved
and intelligent Marianne is, read it.

OK, I'll bite.  What the heck am I supposed to think of this?  A lot of hearsay and stuff, where's the documentation that proves connection to an arms deal?  Where are the connections to anybody that met these clowns anything nefarious was going down.  Bad associations are one thing, but if you didn't invite them, without a pattern of serial contacts, what can one conclude?

Not the arms deal.

It is fact, where they were, who the people they were working with and for.
It sure as hell ain't no Buick dealers they were associating with.
And doing it in Paris to boot.

They could have been working w/the CIA/Mossad for all we know.
The article illustrates heavy company, heavy lifting.  I'm sure there
are but I can't think of many elected officials that are capable of
functioning at this level.

I'm wanting Santorum to gain momentum......But if he does not, I'm going to support Newt and hope, as CO stated, for a born again Newt. Newt does have a track record from the 90's that is strong and heck, as President, what else could the media elite do to him? I believe he would enact real change.....but I also think it of Santorum too.

I also appreciate the words from Perry, in regards to Newt.....It appears, maybe, a sit down, come to Jesus discussion, and Perry certainly sounded sincere. Hard to fake it. I'm willing to forgive and forget, if Newt embraces the conservative force and has changed his life.

Maybe a Perry VP?
I'm not always engulfed in scandals, but when I am, I make sure I blame others.

I wouldn't mind Perry as VP, TX is a big state, he's got a good governing track record, and a mop could beat Plugs in a Veep debate.

Gingrich/Perry?  Or, I still wonder if Mama Grizzly might wind up in a VP slot again.  Her oblique endorsement of Newt might mean something.
