Drudge reports that executives at ABCNews say it would be “unethical” to run Marianne Gingrich’s interview so close to South Carolina Primary and that a tentative decision has been made to broadcast the interview next Monday after all votes have been counted.

I remember a presidential hopeful who was cheating on his dying wife......and it took a piece of trash paper to break the story.

I remember a presidential hopeful who married into ketchup money......multi millions, much more than mitt, but I guess these media types were into rich white dudes then.

They want Romney. Perry could win flat out, he's got no stink, every Dhim in Tx and
the DNC has looked and every opponent has looked. He was born a dirt poor dirt
farmer, became an Eagle Scout, an Aggie, a GI, a dirt farmer, then politician. He's out.

They are going to juggle it between Newt and Santorum until voters have overload and
in the meantime make sure it's all sprinkled with Romney stink. Conservatives are
being played and the country is being played.

Perot ensured Clinton, Nader screwed AlGore, now snarkey thinks it'll be cool to

You are both correct. Don highlights the hypocrisy and CO the reasons behind it. If anybody has any doubt Obama and the media want Romney served up to them for swift sacrifice is just not paying attention and may be irreversibly stupid to boot!

If it is Romney, this country is going to be subjected to the largest class envy/ warfare campaign ever......we just think its disgusting now. We have been spoon fed this crap since the inauguration of Obama......but the best is yet to come. What better avenue to cover your "record of achievement " than create the biggest divide ever, using class envy to build hatred.

This is so infuriating but I'll give the libs credit.......construct a misleading wall of separation of church and state, take god out, re write history, demand acceptance of immorality, build an amoral army, subject half the people to generations of welfare under the guise of compassion and then use envy as a weapon.

Yup. When the election should be about whether or not the nation chooses to become Socialist according to Obama's record and rhetoric, it will instead be about class warfare. The media will help the Leftists craft the narrative. Even if the economy crashes over the summer, they will help Obama make the election about the rich vs the rest of us, and the subject of whether we slide into Socialism will fight for airtime.

It's as if they took the Seven Deadly Sins and made them the basis of their whole ideology.

I do get the feeling that something changed, or rather some long-planned conspiracy was recently activated. The left has always been a bunch of degenerates, so maybe there's nothing really new, but it just seems like we have entered into uncharted territory with the election of this POS. I think they caught a glimpse of the finish line and they're now in their endgame mode. When I see this bastard speak, I can honestly picture him ushering in some open-ended "emergency" scenario and executing a coup d'etat. So with Perry now out of the race, we are down to Romney, Gingrich, Santorum, and...ahem...Paul. Let history show that in America's great existential crisis, this was the best the GOP could do.

I really hate that Gingrich seems to have multiple political personality disorder, because when he's "on" no one articulates conservatism better. He had some great lines in the debate in Myrtle Beach the other night. At this point I am leaning toward supporting him, out of what's available. Maybe with Perry's departure we will finally see where the ABR conservatives are coalescing.

The circumstances we find ourselves in, combined with the thoroughly lackluster response from "our" party, makes me want to indulge very much in a "take my ball and go home" attitude. I want to just say to hell with the whole thing. But then I can't bear the thought of letting the current POS just waltz back into the White House to complete his work as the architect of destruction.

   Romney wins and we receive Obama lite
   Romney loses and we receive Obama
   Santorum wins and we receive GOP delight, with pro-life topping
   Gingrich wins and we receive, God willing, a born again gNewt who

If he doesn't we'll be no worse off than we would have

If Newt still has a chance after the "bombshell" today, I'll support him. Although it currently doesn't seem like much of a bombshell. Newt cheated on Marianne, and refused to stop seeing Calista when she found out. Nothing new there.

I read this morning that a large group of tea party leaders are now ready to support Newt. Newt's now making a play for Paul voters by saying we should at least consider going back to a gold standard (and getting our financial house in order). He seems to have momentum in the polls. I'd be willing to support him despite his personal ethical issues and his occasional lapse into liberalism. I'd rather see him President than Romney(care).

That's just it, I don't think Romney will get beat. Santorum will be targeted next by the Establishment, he is the next most reliable conservative. Once he's gone then gNewt will be targeted, if he survives this open marriage crap and doesn't screw the pooch somehow. Then Paul will be ignored en masse, he's easily ignored now as a fringe candidate. It will be Romney, I'd bet the house on it.

Newt may be smarter than all the e-GOP combined, we know he has
more guts. Santorum is out of his league and with Palin backing Newt
there is a fighting chance we may have Newt as our candidate. And
Newt in the general is a much stronger candidate than Romney.

Stronger as in probable potential to win.
