The Rules
« on: February 02, 2012, 01:32:50 AM »
Saw this tonight on the ONT at AoS.

Quote
1. Ask for what you want.
Let us be clear on this one:
Subtle hints do not work!
Strong hints do not work!
Obvious hints do not work!
Just say it!

1. Yes and No are perfectly acceptable answers to almost every question.

1. Come to us with a problem only if you want help solving it. That’s what we do.
Sympathy is what your girlfriends are for.

Feel free to add a few more if they come to mind.
In a doomsday scenario, hippies will be among the first casualties. So not everything about doomsday will be bad.

Yes, you DID have a "look" on your face. Don't try to tell me I didn't see what I just f***ing saw.
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

But remember -

1. Anything we said 6 months ago is inadmissible in an argument.
In fact, all comments become null and void after 7 Days.

Except your comments which will be stored in a memory vault
in perpetuity and always used to your disadvantage.

Yeah, guys don't remember the specifics, so everytime it comes up we are automatically at a disadvantage.

Losing once is bad enough...

Retreat is the only viable option...head for the garage and have a stogie and a beer...

1. Thank you for reading this.
Yes, I know, I have to sleep on the couch tonight.

But did you know men really don’t mind that? It’s like camping.

with a TV.

Now I get it.  My dh falls asleep almost every night in front of the tv in the living room.  When I suggested just getting up and going to bed before the point he nods off he looked at me as if I had two heads.

Here is the problem wit dat. If we knew when we was gonna drop off, it would be easy to get up and go to bed. It just kinda sneaks up on me . . .
The problems we face today are there because the people who work for a living
are outnumbered by those who vote for a living.
