That doesn't make him (or they) wrong, it just kind of puts Stockman in a different light doesn't it? He has selective memory about who gave us deficits in the Reagan years and why? Tip O'Neil ring any bells? Anyway, BOT - we are just in the opening phases of the loss of confidence, we have a little bit further to go before we see implosion, but you can advance the big hand on the economic doomsday clock another notch.
