See us being polite is the problem. If we did something to annoy that car owner we would hear about it. I say pour break fluid on their hood and let modern chemestry and sunlight do it's job. azzholes!

I gotta disagree with that. Vandalism and/or violence are the tools of the left. It's where they always go and it's usually the first place they go.

Plus it's anonymous which is another calling card of the left. I'm okay with a little non-destructive, non-violent prank that's anonymous but that's where I will draw the line.

If I need to escalate a situation to the physical then it will be in person.
In a doomsday scenario, hippies will be among the first casualties. So not everything about doomsday will be bad.

Parking one's vehicle close to the driver's door is invitation to a possible keying event.
Gently backing one's pickup into the 8 o'clock spot, right on the line, should do the trick.

This happened at a local Lowes and I thought the actions taken against the driver clever, even if he also became a victim. Car was parking ( VW bug) similair to the pic. I was waiting on the wife ( reached my time limit of plant peering) when the guy pulled up and "parked", taking up 4 spots. The difference being the spots taken were in the upper third of the parking lot, not right out front. So here pulls in a truck, stops, looks at the bug and proceeds to "park" his truck with his front bumper about 6 " from the driver door. So, now he has 3 spots occupied.

Doesn't end there.... The store gets a little busy.... All the front spots are filling up......Here comes another vehicle and parks in the unoccupied spot behind the truck. So it looks like an "H". Out pops the guy with the Bug and he can't get in his car....out comes the guy in the truck and he can't get out.... I know they exchanged pleasantries, but then the wife came out and we left. One time I wanted to stay, but was forced by threat to leave.

I like 'Soup's baracade idea, but as Don notes above, stuff like that can provoke stuff.  I would prefer a more subtle message to this insufferable tool.

There has to be a stroller-pushing mother or two about...ask for a poopy diaper...know where I'm going here?

Well, you could also circle the car with shopping carts.

I made a little joke about encircling the offending car but it was just that - a joke. In real life all you do is irritate and escalate an azzhole to more/worse misbehavior.

I was around 22 and owned a nice Chevy van with purdy mag wheels and a custom paint job. Because of that, and because I am a firm believer is "Do unto others" I was in the habit of ultra-selective parking - that sometimes included taking two (but only on the outer fringe).

One afternoon I made a stop at the pharmacy for my mom and parked in an end of the row spot where I could leave as much space as possible for the car next to me. While I'm sitting there a tuna-boat pulls in next to me and a fat broad flings her door open, slamming into my fender. I get out and confront her. She tells me to "F" off. I turn around and kick the side of her car and leave.

Two weeks later I got a visit from the politzi investigating a hit~n~run. I ended up paying $650 for my temper tantrum.

If you're gonna screw with peoples stuff.......

don't get caught.

I don't want to screw with other people or their stuff, I just want me and mine left alone, which is why I stay as far away as often as possible.

I believe the most advantagous way to remedy a situation is thru leaving a business card with a note attached, commenting on the boorish behavior........Mind you, not YOUR business card, but someone elses...like a competitor, general azzhole, political enemy...... make sure there is a phone number.

The best way to make a point without harm to the car would be to put the picture out on twitter with the headline: This is how liberal park their cars #liberalparking

I'm quite certain I once ran across a website devoted to parking/traffic a-holes people have observed, with their pictures posted. If I find it again this one is definitely going up there.

That was my exact thought.  ::thinking:: No damage, just inconvenience.

I do remember in highschool. My brother and I used to move a small car diagonally between two other cars. The driver could get in but was unable to leave. There was only 2" between front and rear bumpers and the other cars. ::evilbat::  ::evilbat::

And as today's cars get smaller.....and smaller .......easier to move.

Wonder if there is a way to drain the batteries of electric cars.....not that it is necessary.
