I run a trail that gives me multiple directions/paths in which to go (I don't wear a mask when I run) -- and you should see folks walk 10 feet into the woods to get away from me. If they thought about it, I wouldn't be able to run IF I was infected (breathing would be laborious) - but they move away all the same. I have techno music on via ear-buds - so I'm not sure if anyone mutters; but it's amusing to me (and I fight the urge to throw my arms up and yell "BOO!"
;D

I rarely see masks in person, no one runs off onto the grass to get away from me and the only word I usually hear is "hi."

On Nextdoor, however...  Karen and her whipped little husband rule.

This is definitely a r vs K thing...

In my rural , blue collar town no one is wearing a mask outdoors. Many put them on as a courtesy when entering stores - largely because there is a sign on the door requesting it

The rabbit R-oriented  people are of course scared of any breaking branch.. Someone thumped their foot and they all ran into their holes for cover. They know they are totally unprepared to look at data or think for themselves.  K-oriented wolf people  will do stuff for the pack.. but they aren't running scared.
