When this was playing the airwaves (along with Talking Heads, REM, Soft-Cell, Elvis Costello, Blondie, The Cure, The Bangles, Tom Petty, Nick Lowe, etc.), I was in marathon shape & could out-dance ANY guy on the dance floor @ the local NJ clubs & bars . . . which afforded me a considerable advantage with the lady-folk!

Ahh, you were that guy...

I was the guy in the dark corner shooting pool and having to give away lots of my drinks because I kept winning all night...maybe I got better looking later on towards closing...maybe not...at least it was a very inexpensive night out for me...

Would only get dragged out for that dancing stuff if my girlfriend at the time insisted...then they'd discover how unskilled I was...then, slow dance or no dance from then on...

Yeah, had that in my background awaiting a break in my day to post on it...thanks for posting it...I do not think most people are aware of how truly savage this is...this is HUGE...the Saudi's make it a point to not openly challenge us for decades...ever since we helped them discover and develop their oil fields and turn them from wandering desert waifs into filthy rich oil barons and elevated The House of Saud from goatherders they've largely with some notable exceptions played nice with us and we give them all the military toys they can want...but to openly and savagely ridicule a sitting President and Veep...is unprecedented...this is a massive humiliation.  And I cannot say it is undeserved in the least...

It's embarrassing being an American with these two and the crap in Congress being in power...

Sports related hilarity...

Background -  MN Wild hockey team, historically easily pushed around by physical teams has gotten more physical themselves with help from new leadership and new additions...recent game vs Edmonton was a wipeout with the Wild beating them 5-1...later in the final period when star winger Kaprizov tried to tally a goal a little Oiler fella gave Kaprizov a little shove, Kaprizov shoved back (normally this is where most things end) but then Oilers thug Evander Kane has to come and cross-check Kaprizov who wasn't having it and the scrum begins...then, what I really liked seeing the other 4 on the ice all come after Kane, especially center Hartman...after being separated Hartman yelled FU and gave Kane the bird...

The moronic NHL...who regularly sees one guy beating the blood and snot out of a guy on the ice...fines Hartman $4,250 for "unsportsmanlike conduct"...

Now, the really funny part...Kane's ex-wife Anna (who did not part nicely) is one of many non-fan's of Evander who donated to Hartman's Venmo account to help offset the silly fine!!!

That cartoon works whether it's Cedar Rapids or New York City.

Same thing.  Same outcome.
