Apparently he and his recording studio partner have set up a package deal for parents who want to invest in a full-blown recording session/video-shoot/promo package for their kids. The producers write and record the music, and the teens sing the lyrics.
This girl, Rebecca Black had this ridiculously bubble-gummy pop song placed on YouTube, and within days, she's got about 18,000,000 views and counting - mostly by word-of-mouth on social media - and as of yesterday, this song was the #54 best selling song on iTunes, probably higher today.
In our fame = celebrity culture, this torturous little melody is gonna make her famous, even if it is only for 15 minutes.
