Interesting New "Reagan" Painting

Reagan in quotes because, while I like the concept, I find the portrayal of Reagan as kind of weak.

In a doomsday scenario, hippies will be among the first casualties. So not everything about doomsday will be bad.

I mean, it doesn't look much like him...I wouldn't have known it was him without being told...and I would have had him dressed for riding rather than the Oval Office. Seriously, Reagan would never saddle up without cowboy boots on...no one would.

But that's me.

EDIT: I also cannot see Reagan ever using a US flag as a saddle blanket. No way.

EDIT: And the hat flying off looks more like Indiana Jones' fedora than it does a Stetson. Just saying.

I'll be getting right on that - after my violin lesson I have scheduled... never.
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

Well, I did feel obligated to put up the link...internet ethics such as they are and all. No, I didn't think there would be any takers.

This is an obvious fake. The H&K MP7 was introduced in 2001, Ronald Reagan was president from 1981-1989. It was not around during his term, so you, the discerning viewer, can see this is quite fake.

Nice work :)

Oblivions - they walk among us.

When addressing them in person, is the polite form "oblivioid?"  As in, "If you are half the oblivioid I think you are..."
My doctor told me to start killing people.  Not in those exact words, she said I had to reduce the stress in my life.

Same thing.

I think oblivion in the first person is quite acceptable, but whatever floats yer boat.

Thanks.  I hate it when you can't find an answer in Strunk & White.

What Trap said.  Back to the drawing board!
We are now where The Founders were when they faced despotism.
