What's the difference in Brittan's National Health Service and Obamacare?
Obamacare hasn't been fully implemented yet.

It's called rationing.

My daughter's friend is a nurse in California who's seen Obamacare already.  Elderly patients don't receive certain care because it's not available...

Some specialists are in short supply already and the waiting will only get worse.

The new normal.

I listened to the Prime Minister's questions one night on C-Span and it was comical as they debated lowering the wait time to get an MRI to 18 months --as if that was acceptable.

Nothing new about this in Britain, really...


And I don't mean that it's been going on since the days of King Arthur. This film dates from 1975 and in this particular scene they are, in fact, acting out a parody of the NHS attitude toward the elderly. The fact that it is based on a very real, albeit sick, situation is what gives it its basis for being (darkly) funny.

But they celebrated the NHS in the opening ceremony for the Olympics the other night, they L-O-V-E the NHS!

This is how the DemonRats take on entitlement reform. If their dead they well, no check/pension needed saving the state billions. In this way, the Rats can avoid unpleasantness by the elderly looking like they care more than the GOP morons.
