Burglar was strangely silent and wasn't available for comment. ::rockets::

Cagey.  Sat patiently in the chair a-waiting for the perp to come to him.  Must have been the surprise of the guy's life to find the old feller waiting for him.  The last one.

Never underestimate the humble .22!  One shot no less.  I like how he gave personal commentary on the police treating him like the criminal. At 92 years old he is well into Don't GAF territory.

LOL....He left himself fully exposed...LOL....he fell down the stairs....LOL

dang...92 and when he pulled the rifle up he didn't seem to be shaking, he was steady. Hopefully, the shot didn't kill the perp but the fall did..... he needed to suffer a bit.

I love how he's says I'm a military man.  And "hell, I didn't do anything wrong."

Inconvenient truth, if you're a totalitarian anti-gun-liberty Leftist.
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

What they believe, while trying to avoid admitting it, is that people like this 92 year old man should be left to the mercies of their assailants. If that means victims end up brutalized, raped, or killed, well it's a sad thing but so virtuous and noble.

Every advocate of draconian gun control is effectively saying to every single person who used a firearm to save their own or another's life: "You shouldn't have been able to have that gun."  The only conclusion you can draw is that they believe whatever was going to otherwise happen to those victims would have been the preferable outcome. And they congratulate themselves for thinking this way.

Maybe I'm an odd duck, but as a Christian I believe in the power of prayer. But I'm going to rely on Mr. Smith and Mr. Wesson during a home invasion.
