Zappa, Harrison, Slash, Hendrix, Richards, Page, Vaughn, Clapton, Knopfler, May, Wood, Schon, Edge, Berry?, Young, ?, Iommi, Van Halen, ?, Frehley, ?, ?, Hammet, Santana, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, ?, Diddley, Beck, Neilsen, Saatzer, ?

Nope.

Edit for correction after further observation. I had Beck for who I now believe to be Ron Wood. I had a question mark where I now have Beck.

My son (twice the guitarist/guitar historian I am) says that V-neck/hairy chest/white strat is Ritchie Blackmore, Black jacket/swooped hair/tan strat is Yngwie, and the guy to the right of Yngwie is Cobain.

I thought about that too. I sorta understood why they omitted Les Paul (not a rocker), but snub the Nuge? Or the master of the Surf Guitar Dick Dale?!

Shaw didn't jump out at me as an obvious "shoulda been there", but Frampton and Nugent certainly did.

Satriani and/or Vai too: groundbreakers; next-steppers.

This is the stuff my son is into now. "Animals as Leaders". The guitarist is a Black kid named Tosin Abasi, and Steve Vai has called him the best guitarist ever. You can get a flavor especially at the 1:00 mark.

Sounds like instrumental math rock to me. I like a rock-n-roll groove better. Rush is about as far as I like to delve into odd time signatures in rock music. But there's no question that this Abasi kid is something special, especially when he's got someone like Vai singing his praises.

A link to what.

To the definitive answers as to who the drawings are supposed to be.

Now that I think about it, yes, Bo Diddley had the square guitar, didn't he.  Plus Albert King was left handed.  And played an upside down flying v.

Jeff Beck had the mop top look in the 70's.  I still think that one looks like him.
