Smirking, laughing, smiling, sneering...split screen, didn't see split screen on CSPAN but a angle view where you could see it.

Benghazi flub, $716b lie may be lost in wonk-land.

The smirking sneering stuff is really being keyed on.

Luntz, ugh!  I can pass on that zipperhead!

I'm still waiting on that lie detector outfit findings on the O'Bongo debate flame out!

I do believe that Ryan did what he needed to do which was to prevent a Biden win. He prevented the conversation from being significantly changed. No one is going to be talking about Ryan's poor debate performance for the next several days. So that's a win.

And, as I said earlier, Ryan accomplished the most important thing: He allowed everyone to see that he and Romney are credible replacements for the current idiots. Because this is a referendum election. There are a lot of people who just want to be reassured that voting for Romney/Ryan won't be a mistake. And this performance accomplished that. So that's a win.

Wallace - Never has seen any candidate so openly disrespectful as Biden.  Ryan may have got lostm in the policy weeds, well, latter day Americans are not allows known for their depth of current events knowledge, but Romney is better on the theme score and balance with facts.  IN the Veep stakes I don't think Ryan is as hurt by policy wonk stuff than the top of the ticket guys.

Agreed Trap, it is a referndum election and on that score Ryan got his shots in, and it may be all that the electorate keys on.  After all Bidet only offered an rambling defense of Obamunism and a were better than they are response with smirks and scare-mongering thown in.  Nothing here tonight helps the O'Bongo/Bidet ticket, zero.  It is up to the top of the ticket, and on that score Obama comes up way short.

Krauthammer gives a Kenndy-Nixon type wrap - listen on radio Bidet won, saw on TV Ryan won.

ETA - Agrees with Wallace - unprecedented disrespect toward Ryan and thought Ryan was more than deferential handling it, agrees this will not move the election and that the last two rounds belong to Romney & Obama.

Biden is the reason many people hate to talk politics.
He's the guy who smirks and argues when you try to discuss.

Bidn's closing remarks were so boring...did he mention Obama at all?

Ryan's was effective -- looking at the camera and getting all his points in-- excellent.

And I'd suggest the Biden needs a little more practice as a Catholic.   Man did he ever come off as a politician who just keeps talking and will say anything.

I hope there's a commercial tomorrow that uses Biden's comment that he always means what he says--he said that twice.  I guess he liked it and thought it was effective.  In my house we all burst out laughing.

I think Biden's style is consistent with the Obama's administration's concerns about issues--dismissive and disrespectful.

Biden didn't talk a lot about Obama.  Ryan made points about Romney.  I thought that was good.

When Biden wasn't grinning inappropriately he seemed almost angry.  He seemed to be going after Martha too in some of his answers where he got hot. The libs will call it passion but he seemed angry and argumentative.

I should have seen the disrespect angle coming. Bidet constantly interrupting, smirking like a self righteous ass. What an embarrassment.
I'm not always engulfed in scandals, but when I am, I make sure I blame others.

Media declares Biden the victor...no surprise.

Most polls show Ryan won the debate. Most polls show Ryan as "more likable."

Total win.

I expect the media will not be able to sway people from these opinions...look for the polls to either hold where they are or perhaps continue (since that's where they are already moving) in the Romney direction for another point. There should be no movement in the polls that can be attributed to this debate since these guys aren't running for president. Ryan would have had to really screw the pooch for a reversal. It isn't going to happen. The Mittmentum should be good for another week.

Travel day for me tomorrow...I won't be posting unless it's from the iPhone. You guys have fun...enjoy the Ryan victory.

Proverbs 29:9
If a wise man contends with a foolish man,
Whether the fool rages or laughs, there is no peace.
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

Now, THAT is wisdom of biblical proportions!
“My mission today is to go forth and tell people about why I follow Christ and also what the Bible teaches, and part of that teaching is that women and men are meant to be together.

“However, I would never treat anyone with disrespect just because they are different from me. We are all created by the Almighty and like Him, I love all of humanity. We would all be better off if we loved God and loved each other.”

Think clown makup.  And so they do overseas as well

Ghost of an over-confident Al Gore will haunt a smirking, interrupting Vice President who was caught fibbing about the intelligence community

That's not all, he lied when he said he did not vote for Afghan & Iraq wars.

http://freebeacon.com/biden-claims-he-voted-against-afghanistan-iraq-wars/

He lied about embassy security, the cuts Plugs talks about were not to security, they were in overall appropriations, and this I think was one of the times where the libiot Raddatz interputed Ryan trying to follow up on that and went on to the next topic.

ZH gives the win to Raddatz, heh, funny.  NIce word counts and word bubbles -

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2012-10-11/debate-post-mortem-wreckin-raddatz-laughin-angry-boy-biden-and-car-crash-ryan

We can use that video Trap, posted for a lot of stuff.  Lies, laughing at millions of unemployed Americans, ObamaCare, Obama foreign policy...what a treasure trove of ammo!

Ryan - "I know you're under a lot of duress to make up for lost ground," Ryan shot back at Biden at one point, "but I think people would be better served if we don't keep interrupting each other."

Heh, everybody is commenting on Bidet's bizzare angry old fart gone around the bend performance!

Ahh, so you did watch the debate!  ;D

She also visited Biden's residence in March.  And had Obama at her wedding, or was it her daughter's wedding...anyway, they're personal friends.

I just want to know why the Republicans let them keep getting away with this steaming pile of BS that they are anything close to objective, neutral referees. They're deeper in the fish tank for Obama than that little plastic pirate ship that releases a stream of bubbles.

If I were the GOP, I would simply refuse to give these arrangements one iota of legitimacy. Why not demand all moderators publicly list who they voted for in the past 20 years of presidential elections? If they want to play "moderator" after that, fine. But not while also pretending to be some sort of impartial judge.

It really is infuriating to see Republicans walk into the same lion's den cycle after cycle.

At some point, you'd think the cost of doing so would outweigh the potential fallout of refusing.

Still, when you think about the multi-tentacled, thousand-headed behemoth that stands against the conservative message and conservatives, it is a testament to conservatism that our ideology is at least in parity with the ideology of lies.
