New Census "milestone"
« on: March 25, 2011, 05:08:23 PM »
In a surprising show of growth, Hispanics accounted for more than half of the U.S. population increase over the last decade, exceeding estimates in most states. Pulled by migration to the Sun Belt, America's population center edged westward on a historic path to leave the Midwest.

Surprising?  Not to us, ya dumbass; and you can stop calling it immigration - it isn't, it's invasion - and referring to "population growth" as though they're legal citizens.

1 in 4 of US children are now "hispanic".

Read the rest; some are just so excited about the demographics change.

Yeah, but they're "doing the jobs Americans won't do". We saw proof of this when a mere 300 American citizens applied for 20 or so jobs vacated at an Arizona grocery store when Immigration busted them and their illegal employees.

Of course, law breakers are their kind of folks.

Yeah, but they're "doing the jobs Americans won't do". We saw proof of this when a mere 300 American citizens applied for 20 or so jobs vacated at an Arizona grocery store when Immigration busted them and their illegal employees.

Here in MN, the Chipotle Restaurant franchises were populated almost exclusively with illegal immigrants, from store management on down. For whatever reason, they came onto ICE's radar a couple months back, and stores that were operating this way were forced to fire their entire workforces and rehire US citizens.

The transition happened over the course of a few days. So the claim that these illegals are doing what Americans won't do is put to the lie every time it's tested.

I will say this though, in the interest of fleshing out facets the discussion: There are three Chipotle stores equidistant from our home that we'll go to depending on where we are when we decide to eat there. When these three stores were operated and staffed with Mexicans, the food and service were consistent, fast, and the demeanor of the employees pleasant to the point of joviality. The employees moved quickly, worked hard, with smiles on their faces, enjoying friendly banter among themselves and with customers.

You generally don't get that from American workers in a fast food restaurant. Since the departure of the illegal aliens, the food at these three Chipotles is inconsistent and sloppily put together. The service is slower - the cooks frequently fall behind, and leave people waiting for ingredients to be cooked - the employees appear to be engaging in drudgery against their will with a sullen attitude.

I'm not making any blanket statements - just an observation for discussion, and this thought occurs to me based on this one anecdote: I wonder if the reality isn't that the illegals are doing what Americans WON'T do, but rather, doing what Americans feel they are ENTITLED not to HAVE to do if they don't want to - jobs they feel are beneath their station to which they resent feeling the need to resort. That's what I feel coming off these new Chipotle workers, and frankly, many workers in many different industries not considered to be "fulfilling" career-wise.

The Mexicans seem joyful to have a job. That in and of itself is explicable, considering the hellhole they came from and the open arms into which they've been received. But it also has a value in the marketplace, and it is a value that will now go unprovided to the customers of Chipotle in MN. We receive less for our money at Chipotle now, because the right and legal thing has been done.

"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

The drudges who believe such a job is beneath them need to be fired and replaced with other legal workers who would be glad to provide what you describe the illegal does.

And if there were no "benefits" on which to fall back, that's just what would happen.

My kids have worked food service and not once consider it beneath them.  But then I am their mom! lol

Anyway, one of my daughters ranted yesterday about the time she worked at Dunkin Donuts.  Employees were allowed a certain amount of food to eat while working. Her illegal co-workers (she was one of only a few there who wasn't--to this day we think the owner thought she was hispanic because of her last name which isn't spanish but might be mistaken for it) regularly carted off boxes of food home.  She told them to stop and they would laugh  "Americans --they rich. It won't hurt them!"

They had fun at work and she became good friends with 2 there. BUT that didn't negate they were illegal. Liberals might expect that softened her up about immigration.  Not so. Sometimes I have to tell her to tone it down. LOL

Something has happened at that store since--Americans are working there again.

That's why they get hired first.  And as far as firing the drudges, you can't.  Fast Food operations are big bucks therefore the object of Larry the Litigator's eye.  The employee phrase is: I'mgonna take you ta cote. And of course it is necessary to have three documented incident warning letters, documentation of conflict resolution meetings, and human resources participation.  You may go bankrupt before you get one descent crew.

One may be able to get Americans to occupy the designated position but you cannot get them to do the job.  We're too damn rich and as long as we have this gross amount of unnecessary "spillage" for them to pick up they will never accept a job/wage below what is easier to bum. That is where the mass of Americans are who would normally start their upward mobility at an entry level job. And to make things function a mass number of eager job entrants is necessary.

you got that right

and I know parents who don't want their kids working--too low class you know--like they don't make enough to cover their kids "needs"

I know a woman who took a part time second job to pay for her sons prom expenses

In our house you pay for your own extras

All we need to do is get rid of the welfare state and attitudes will change rapidly.  Working beats starvation.

Right, right, right.

In the meantime, we're being "hispanicized", to cheers from various corners because the Whites are being replaced in their own country.  No one has a problem with that?

With very few exceptions, I've found Hispanics to be very cordial and polite. I've used day laborers with no looking back because I cannot find the help I need. They work very hard and are quick learners. I've advertised many times for help to no luck from the indigenous population.

In my humble opinion, we should deport the liberal slugs to Europe at a rate of 5 for every Hispanic. Maybe we could stop this nonsense of birthright citizenship and make the populous earn it no mater who their parents are. Service means citizenship. (Sounds to much like Starship Troopers). Nice thought though.

Only problem I have is with the liberal/progressive mentality. If they're good decent human beings, believe in the constitution well then welcome, but you have to force five liberals to get out. ;D

It's happening in Europe, too.  The people who have a problem with it don't seem to matter to the elites.

I take that as a "no", then.  The next generations of marginalized White Americans with their diminished history, culture and language, thanks you very much.

Yes.  It's happening in every White/previously majority White country.  That Whites are a minority in the world doesn't seem to garner much attention, but some of us better wake the hell up if your children and grandchildren are to keep their places in their own countries.

Good fcking grief.

I'm against even most legal immigration. You can't import the Third World without becoming part of it. And that's exactly what's happening here, and Europe as well. Hope it was worth it to not have to pick our own lettuce.

It certainly does seem to be a deliberate, coordinated policy.  I guess the White elites feel safe in their gated communities and private islands.

The blogger Whiskey talks about this regularly.

Yeah, there are 5 Mexicans saying "pick me, pick me"; and the indigenous peoples interview you: "how many breaks and how long, how long for lunch, when is quitting time?" on and on (usually after wasting your time they find and excuse to not work) and if they are hired they must be "carried" all day. Then, either you are doing the carrying or your crew is giving you the eye for hiring a POS.

Don't know the troopers but Starship Europa or Starship Akhbar is the ticket.   ::thumbsup::
