  • Hippies smell bad. Go away, hippie.
I wouldn't even mention this little flea were it not that I had gotten his stupid tune as a ring tone to annoy mrs. trapeze* and now I've got to erase the stupid thing off of my phone.

I will for now pretend to believe that this nasty prick's opinion is not the majority in South Korea where we have tens of thousands of our military personnel stationed to prevent their little paradise from being overrun by the Norks.

It turns out PSY has been involved in several anti-American protest performances. According to Mediaite.com he smashed a model U.S. tank while onstage in 2002 to oppose 37,000 U.S. troops that descended on the Korean Peninsula.

A few years later, PSY cursed Americans after a South Korean missionary was executed. His song “Dear American” sets the record straight.

“Kill those f***ing Yankees who have been torturing Iraqi captives/Kill those f***ing Yankees who ordered them to torture/Kill their daughters, mothers, daughters-in-law and fathers/Kill them all slowly and painfully,” he raps.

Obviously America has not cornered the market on assholes in the entertainment field.

In a doomsday scenario, hippies will be among the first casualties. So not everything about doomsday will be bad.

I don't know how common that opinion is among South Koreans, but I think it is at the very least a sizable minority. It's the same in the other countries we have forces. Hell, if the liberals are demanding big defense cuts I can think of an excellent starting point.

Trap, I first saw that video a couple years ago. Now I can't hear the song without seeing it in my head. Not that there's anything wrong with it....

I can tell you from personal experience of 30 years ago the young people at that time were living out their version of 60's hippie BS!  They all thought if the US got out and they could hug the people of the North all would be well in their world.

I am of the opinion that we should give them exactly what they desire and they can choke on the consequences.  Once we are out they will have nobody to blame, though they will try.

As for this PSY asshole, hope he goes the way of the Macarana and the Dodo.

If the Leftists have their way, the whole world will soon discover what we already know: America has been the only thing standing between their day-to-day existence and Hell on f**king Earth.

"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

Love Thunderstruck.

Several years ago my husband made an end-of-season video for my daughter's sports team. I think of that video everytime I hear the song now.  :)

South Korea was a socialist craphole for the longest time.  They've since as a nation moved to the right and have enjoyed an economic boom that's decades long, now.  It wasn't that long ago that the young and stupid would violently riot for a return to those "glory" days.  I think as the nation gets richer that minority agitating for socialism will continue to shrink.  I haven't read of a violent protest for a long time, now.  If our little Kim Youngin' lookalike was caught up in that, once upon a time, I won't call for punishing him forever.  I do believe he's mellowed as he's gotten older.

Besides, it's not like we're voting for him for President or anything...  ::unknowncomic::

If he does start acting up again, ragging on our troops, I suggest we drop him over the border into the North.  I've read that Camp 14 has a proven diet plan that can slim down the pudgiest badass wannabe.   ::thinking::

Dam, now I'm hungry for some Fish Pancake and Bulgogi I would get at a little dump in St. Paul my wife and I discovered.
