I would add this to your post.
In a doomsday scenario, hippies will be among the first casualties. So not everything about doomsday will be bad.

I remember Marko from my days at Glock Talk, back in the late 90s and early 2000s.  Even in the midst of the first asinine AWB, I look back fondly at those times. 50 round boxes of 9mm Blazer for $3.99, 1000 round cases of 7.62x39 for $69.  Wish I'd had more money back then.
