Reading Denninger's Leverage.  In chapter 2 there is a graph that reminds me an aweful lot of her explaination of leverage. . . 

Would you share a little more of that and possibly post the graph?

If you want a review I suppose I could be roused into giving one.  Would help me remember the contents that much better. . .

But generally its pretty simply written.  No incredibly big words or mind bending concepts to contend with.  Joe Smuck could should have no issues understanding it, provided he had the interest and a small prerequisite of vocabulary.

I learned from it so far that debt can purchause, and that the housing bubble was caused by the banks and their increasing depraved loans that at the same time increased the costs of buying a home while appealing to marginal buyers.  The banks and other fisical entities simply kept skimming off the top of whatever transactions occured.
