Yeah. In fact lots of the early members of the NSDAP were previously members of the Communist Party. The Nazis even had propaganda posters in the early 30s targeting German communists for changing political allegiance to the NSDAP. Despite the fact that they were political rivals, and had frequent street brawls with each other, the chief difference between them was the nature of their socialism. The commies were international socialists, the Nazis were national socialists. Otherwise they were quite similar: the individual is utterly subservient to the will of the state, the state is the interface to every aspect of living, the economy is directed top down by the state, etc.
