That disqus crap blows worse than a hurricane.  I hardly go there anymore. . .

I'm with ya. Hate the new format.
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

I got sick of "the tone" long ago, so very rarely.

Disqus is everywhere now and it sucks.

And trap was right about PJ Media's new commenting system sucking as well.

I signed up with disqus about a year and a half ago. I was weary of trying to keep track of all the registrations required to speak my damned mind on these sites and liked the idea of a "single sign-on". I do have a farcebook account but refrain from using it for political purposes. I also have a gargoyle account but refuse to use if and continue to feed the beast.

It (disqus) actually worked for me for a while. Now I find myself stuck between the grinding influences of the technical demons. I like the version of Firefox that I am using (ver 3 something) and absolutely hate all of the new flavors. But it no longer works with flash so it crashes 10-15 times a day. I won't use Internet Exploder and would rather throw the whole works out the window rather than use chrome (feed the beast).

I need a frikkin vacation.

I mostly use my fake Twitter account to make comments on various sites. And I even occasionally use it to harass certain high profile dumbasses like Senator McRino and his idiot daughter (who has blocked me from her Twitter feed for making various comments about her love of fried food and gravy). You may "follow" me if you like, I don't care.

At any rate, no, I don't go to RedState anymore but it's mainly because I just don't find it interesting.
In a doomsday scenario, hippies will be among the first casualties. So not everything about doomsday will be bad.

You got some brutal jabs going on their Max - I may need to sign up ;-)

Once upon a time I signed up for the newly formed "democracy now" site. I used the alias "Karmic_Kommander" - a concern troll if you ever saw one. I lasted about six months.

I was a very good concern troll. It was only after I became completely over~the~top in my mannerisms and outrageous in my assertions that they kicked me to the curb (I got a PM from one of the mods almost in tears that they were having to do this - this person maintained that, with a little "help", I still could be redeemed!).

Dang. I need a fake Twitter account for that purpose. I need to come up with a good name for it.
