Am I to believe that in London there were no people that could/would help? Are Brits so cowed that they stood and watched as one of their soldiers was murdered like that? Well of course they did nothing after all that might offend the Muzzies in the midst of fighting for Allah and make them subject to prosecution as racists.
Good point.
I have no idea of conditions at ground level except that the Brits have worked overtime to completely disarm their subjects, along with laws that, unlike our "Good Samaritan" laws, actually leave them vulnerable to personal liabilities. I would suspect that this would engender a sense of helplessness and heighten the impulse to keep your head down and mind your own business.
And yet the first person to intervene was a female - reportedly a teacher - who tried to reason with the terrorist bastards. I don't know if that was foolhardy or courageous but kudos to her!
Over the years I've stepped in many times but I am mindful of the fact that I don't heal as quickly as I used to. Just this morning I stopped to get gas and, while fueling, one of Øbongo's peeps came up to me and asked for money. I told him "No." but he persisted. "I just need a couple bucks to get to work, man!" His attitude changes as he watched me undo my jacket and he sought greener pastures.
I see red when I think of that scenario - but with my mom or my daughter instead of me.
