SiriusXM's The Spectrum To Host Paul Simon Weekend April 8-10
APRIL 7, 2011, 2:31 pm

SiriusXM's The Spectrum will be hosting a Paul Simon Weekend starting this Friday April 8th at 6 p.m. EDT through this Sunday April 10th 11:59 p.m. EDT. Paul will be on The Spectrum this weekend to celebrate his latest album, "So Beautiful or So What," and take listeners on an exclusive track-by-track tour of the record. Visit SiriusXM.com for more information.

We've been listening on XMRadio, channel 45, if you're interested.  It's not a bad album, has a Graceland flavor, and Simon's either found God (there's one song about Christmas!) or isn't embarrassed about singing about it any longer.
"Under certain circumstances, profanity provides a relief denied even to prayer." - Mark Twain

"Let us assume for the moment everything you say about me is true. That just makes your problem bigger, doesn't it?"

Watching the musicians and actors of my youth grow old and continue to produce good work evokes an emotion from me that I never knew as a younger man. Can't really describe it.
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

- Thomas Jefferson
