Although I will never think of my generation's music as "old", in reality, 30 years is pretty old.

When I was just starting to listen to music as a teen 30-year-old music would have seemed old. It WAS old.

But now music is more multigenerational I think because you can access music so easily. My kids and I all listen to the same stuff. Admittedly, they are usually introducing me to new bands but that's only because I just don't invest the time into it like they do. We went to 3 concerts together this summer.
