Now that I'm thinking a little more about it, Obongo probably had nothing at all to do with the letters; they're form letters -- all the same -- with a robo-signature. As he didn't compose the letter/s and he didn't sign them, what was his part in the sending? Folding them into the envelope and licking it? No, it was left to a staffer to handle as an item on a checklist. I suspect he does hate the military and that for which it stands, but in this case, I see only malicious indifference.

It is tradition for senior officers to write personal letters by hand to survivors of the fallen under their command, this tradition goes all the way up, even though the practice by Presidents has not been consistent, if I were a loved one of a fallen I would rather receive a hand written letter from a superior officer than a form letter from an indifferent President. In this case nothing would be preferable to what they are getting.

The image of a tearful George W. Bush cradling a grieving loved one of a fallen serviceman to his breast comes to mind.
I'm on my dumbphone, or I'd find one and post it.
I cannot imagine Obama accomplishing such a simple act of compassion with a shred of authenticity.

Though I can argue his policies, I have no doubt he's a decent man, with emotions and knew how to be a president.
The current man occupying the White House has none of that and doesn't care to.

He was the right man for the job regarding 911. I think he became beat down his last year. He will forever have my respect. I find disagreements I may have over policy is overridden by my respect for the man.

I watched the C span circus last nite. Watched the entire examination of the obama bozos over the killing of our ambassador and brave troops. Every day I don't think I can reach another level of disgust for this administration....Every day I'm wrong.
These assclowns are nothing but a bunch of lying asshats. A firing squad would be too good for these "patriots". May God have no mercy on thier soul.
