The recent narrative has been that Kiev will attack "bases" used to attack Ukraine.
Kiev has been shelling or using rockets to attack civilian residential areas for over 10 years. I expect that to continue.
I know Kiev has used Himars to attack Donetsk city. Not sure what is used to attack  Belgorod.

Yes, this summit is an effort to get tail-wagging going to put pressure on Russia and it's allies and it is DOA because of the Eastern territory already annexed...but whoever wrote that line above has to know that even a polite way of calling Xi a bitch of Putin's aims in Ukraine is going to strike a nerve...mostly because it is true...Russia & China and the rest of it's shared motley crew of pals are inextricably tied to each other for good & bad.  Pointing it out is just so rude!  Not wrong, though...

The US has made it clear that the US wants to take down Russia followed by China. The US wants to sanction Russia followed by China. Chinese can read. Russia needs help avoiding sanctions as does China now and in the future.

The current so called peace talks excluded Russia. RU was later invited for the last meeting at which time they would be handed the terms. Some countries including China passed on this set of meetings.

You may have heard of the Odessa Trade Union House incident.  Read up on it.  50 people/protesters  were burned alive after taking refuge in the building. They were burned alive by Kiev govt allied (and paid for?) goons from other cities.. Similar to early NAZI brownshirts, not military.

Blinken recently was shown eating in a Kiev pizza place. Someone noticed the booth he was in. A picture on the wall had been recently changed. The  photo of the trade union house on fire had been replaced. I do not recall the equivalent in most of US history in various wars, especially recent ones.  The famous photo of the naked Vietnamese girl running down the street is not celebrated as far as I know.

KFC never sold extra crispy chicken named after napalmed Vietnamese as far s I know. Such chicken is sold in Ukr named after the Trade Union House. Americans were usually known for their decency.

Perhaps falling for RU propaganda?  As far as I recall the UN Human Rights Council or whatever they're called (no friend of the US under any Administration) never called it out and neither has The Hague convened one of their in-absentia show trials...so a he said/she said means anybody can believe whatever they want scenario that does nothing...

You can look up the Odessa trade Union house and find stuff including videos of the event.

You can always find exceptions but documentaries of German and Japanese POWs  usually comment on how surprised they were as to US decency toward them. Especially Japanese. I recently watched one.

I think the MSM mostly makes this stuff up. Almost all of the Russian goals and plans were made up by western MSM. Take Kiev in 3 days? Etc. I noticed the Russians say almost nothing except alleged casualties on both sides in a boring daily briefing.
