At Military Connection, we are privileged to work with some top-notch, highly respected non-profits that diligently work to provide a safety net to the ever-increasing number of people suffering from mental health issues. Give an Hour is dedicated to meeting the mental health needs of the troops and families affected by the ongoing conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan through direct counseling services, education and training. The Soldiers Project offers free, confidential psychological counseling for Military Servicemembers, Veterans and their loved ones. The Veterans Crisis Line connects Veterans and their families and friends with qualified VA responders via their toll-free hotline, an online chat, or by text.To have the opportunity to interact with so many wonderful people on a daily basis, our users, clients, and the many groups we work and partner with throughout the year, make what I do truly enjoyable. So true. As a youngster after moving 500 mi from home, I was always blessed to have a friend's family adopt me for the holidays. I guess it was my charm and good looks.
