Is there bad stuff going on here?  Sure there is.  But one thing is certain - the more you crack down the harder people work to get around your restrictions.

And this is certainly true -

"This is about the future of our Internet freedom," she said. "If Ross Ulbricht loses then I think what will happen is anybody who uses TOR networks or anonymous systems will be considered a criminal by default."

We just saw this in practice!  You carry too much cash (how much is too much is in the eye of the badge-wearing goon!) you are a criminal thinking of committing a crime until you can prove irrefutably you are not!

Soon, some crimes will not be crimes any more, it will be survival.  And maybe these people crowd-funding hits are merely trying to level the playing field before things go fully kinetic, eh?

We, the formerly law-abiding citizens who were looked up to and respected by our peers, are being made into criminals by criminals.  Perhaps resistance is futile after all?
