Obama blows off meeting Israeli PM Netanyahu...no mention if any of this angst experienced by the Narcissist-in-Chief was taken out on poor Reggie Love.

Protocol.  Obama and his minions have the gall to talk about protocol?  Is it protocol for the US President before ABM to bow repeatedly and kneel before foreign leaders?  No.  Is it protocol before Obama to insult America while abroad?  No.  Is it protocol before Obama to leave US Ambassadors and other US personnel in harms way to be slaughtered like animals by animals?  No.  Is it protocol before Obama to insult foreign leaders by: a) giving them cheesy self-promoting gifts?  b) sticking your chewing gum under their chairs?  c) avoiding their national shrines?  or d) shunning their leaders?  No, no, no and no.  Is it protocol before Obama to routinely put your feet up on the desk?  The list goes on and on...and of course the MFM ignores all of these slights and just focuses on what pisses off their Dear Leader!

Case in point (referring to my last post):

According to the report, {Bloomberg News} Mossad officials advised a bipartisan group of senators who were visiting Israel to hold off passage of the bill, saying that new sanctions would hamper U.S. efforts to persuade the Iranians to abandon or permit international supervisions of their uranium enrichment efforts.

This, of course, neatly matches the appeal made by President Obama in his State of the Union speech that the Senate not pass any new sanctions and trust his negotiators to bring about the agreement.

The response from the Israeli government was almost immediate.

An unnamed “senior Israeli official” told Israeli Channel 2 News that “the fraudulent claims against the Mossad Head were raised by the Americans yesterday despite a message that had been transmitted to them on Tuesday by Intelligence Minister [Yuval] Steinitz.”

In an unusual official statement concerning the January 19 secret meeting which had been held at the request of the American senatorial delegation by Mr. Pardo, with the prime minister’s full approval, the Mossad said:

“The Head of Mossad did not say that he opposes additional sanctions on Iran.

“Mossad Head Tamir Pardo met on January 19, 2015, with a delegation of US senators. The meeting was held at the request of the senators and with the prime minister’s approval. At the meeting, the Head of Mossad stressed the extraordinary effectiveness of the sanctions that have been placed on Iran for several years in bringing Iran to the negotiating table.

“The Head of Mossad noted that in negotiating with Iran, a policy of ‘carrots and sticks’ must be adopted, and there are not enough ‘sticks’ nowadays.” Furthermore, said the agency, he “said specifically that the agreement that is being formed with Iran is bad and could lead to a regional arms race.”

Unnamed sources in Jerusalem told Army Radio today that *the statement as issued was “revenge” by the Obama administration for Netanyahu’s acceptance of the invitation extended by John Boehner (R-OH) and Mitch McConnell (R-KY)* to address a joint session of Congress without going through the executive branch. White House press secretary Josh Earnest had earlier expressed the administration’s annoyance at the invitation, and has also indicated that “as a matter of policy” Obama will not meet with Netanyahu when he comes to the U.S. in March to address Congress.

Bull.  It's revenge for Netanyahu not kissing Obongo butt.

Caroline Glick picked up on one article the Israeli left-wing paper Ha’aretz didn’t bother translating into English that details Obama’s involvement in the upcoming Israeli elections. A summary of the article is provided by IMRA (Independent Media Review & Analysis):

    Haaretz reporter Roi Arad revealed in an article in the Hebrew edition today [January 26] that the foreign funded organization, “One Voice”, is bankrolling the V-2015 campaign to defeat Binyamin Netanyahu’s national camp in the March 2015 Knesset Elections.

    One indication of the generous financing is that it has now flown in a team of five American campaign experts (including Jeremy Bird, the Obama campaign’s national field director) who will run the campaign out of offices taking up the ground floor of a Tel Aviv office building.

    V-2015 is careful not to support a specific party – rather “just not Bibi”. As such, the foreign funds pouring into the campaign are not subject to Israel’s campaign finance laws.

Glick commented via Facebook:

    Obama won’t meet Benjamin Netanyahu ...  in Washington when he addresses the Joint Houses of Congress in March because of Netanyahu’s visit’s proximity to the Israeli elections. And Obama, of course believes in protocol and propriety which is why he won’t get involved. No, he’s not getting involved at all. He’s just sending his 2012 field campaign manager to Israel to run a campaign to defeat Netanyahu. That’s all. No interference whatsoever.

Correction: January 30, 2015

An earlier version of this article misstated when Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of Israel accepted Speaker John A. Boehner’s invitation to address Congress. He accepted after the administration had been informed of the invitation, not before.

In 2011, Boehner sent a notice to the WH stating his intention to invite Netanyahu to speak before a joint session of Congress. The White House never responded (spite? incompetence?) and Boehner proceeded to extend the invitation to Netanyahu. Netanyahu accepted the invitation and spoke. The White House did not express any outrage in 2011. That was before the 2012 reelection, of course, so Obama did not want to run the risk of losing any support.

But that was then and this is now. And as Barack Obama has reminded us, he will never be on a ballot again so he can do whatever he wants now and go “full Bulworth,” as he told close aides he wanted to do in his second term.

Boehner clearly assumed the same series of events was occurring when the White House failed to respond this time to the notice given to the White House before he sent an invite to Netanyahu.  (Hat Tip: CJL and LR).

The White House deliberately created this “crisis” to impugn Netanyahu and undercut support for him and Israel. No less than Senator Harry Reid blamed this diplomatic faux paus entirely on Boehner and Netanyahu for undercutting support for Israel among Democrats . The media, or much of it, has been relentlessly attacking Israel over a lie promoted by people in the administration.

So, why hasn't Boehner done more to get the truth out?  Maybe he likes the image of him sticking his finger in Obongo's eye for public consumption.
