The Duran is a good source for Erdogan stories and analysis. From memory, Russia is pissed that Turkey released the AZOV POWs back into Ukr, despite agreeing not to.
Duran some times invoke the story of the frog and the scorpion to explain him. "It's his nature."

Turkey was to make bank off being a natural gas "hub" for Russian nat gas.  Recently Moscow has been using different, weaker language to describe that future arrangement.Turkey was making big money off the grain deal. Not any more. EU was also making money. The biggest single consumer of the grain were pigs in Spain.

I recently saw photos of Turkish cluster munition shells allegedly sold to Kiev. Erdogan has been trying to patch things up with Moscow. These shells might make that difficult.

Russia alleges that EU said they would make it easier to Russia to export RU grain in exchange for the grain deal by removing some sanctions and allowing a RU ag bank back on SWIFT but did nothing in 9 months. RU also alleges that the grain corridor was used to transport weapons to Kiev. Again, factual reporting is rare.

Turkey is twitchy about Kiev attacking RU ships patrolling the RU-Turkey nat gas pipeline as they believe Kiev wants to blow up that pipeline.

People are trying to figure out what Erdogan meant when he recently said Turkey might get involved in this Israel - Hamas-Hezbollah war.

Erdogan, a non-stop juggernaut of despotism...once again uses his corrupt state to remove a political rival...

Who's a bigger thug?  Erdogan?  Putin?  The Eurocrats?  So-called American "democrats"?

Certainly, Erdogan has been doing it longer (and successfully) than anybody...all others must look at him with bemused admiration...

Here's to their cratering economy...   ::beertoast::

Maybe this will get Turkey into the EU. Sounds like what they would do.

Well, in 1995 they joined the customs union...but since that same time their application to join the EU is just sitting there...yeah, maybe their politics are aligned now, LOL!  They do deserve each other...and Erdogan would probably love to be head of the Eurasian Caliphate if he lives long enough to see it reach fruition...

Funny!

https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/turkish-admiral-nato-has-become-reckless-zombie-alliance

If there is a "zombie" nation it is Turkey.  Their economy is a joke, without the West they would collapse.  They bully their neighbors like they are the CCP.  Their leader is a dictator.  Political rivals get destroyed.  Their people are cattle.  How much more "zombie" do you have to be?

And, who but Turkey has gone out of its way to help make NATO obsolete?  Nobody.

While its obsolescence began when the Soviet Union fell, NATO is still only as obsolete as Turkey's desires for the good 'ol days of Ottoman hegemony in the region!

Thursday Marks Armenian Genocide Remembrance Day
A reputed 1 ½ million Armenians were murdered by the Turks in 1915 during World War I

https://www.dailywire.com/news/thursday-marks-armenian-genocide-remembrance-day

And I can see Erdogan totally repeating atrocity on Kurds and Jews...
