ETA - Going to venture out to my sister's...my father is feeling down, hard being stuck inside and not seeing other people...not supposed to be in a hard lockdown so hopefully travel goes unimpeded.
I travel with a plastic grocery bag with a few non-perishables in it (box of cereal, can of soup, etc) on the front passenger seat.
I haven't been stopped - but if i am - I'm delivering groceries to a shut-in. What a-hole is gonna' bust yer balls fer that?
I really didn't expect any problems on the road but ya never know...seems to be a stepped up LEO presence though...saw a MN HP roll hard after somebody going the other direction on the main 2-lane road on my way to my sister's place...and no food that I am aware of but lots of ass-kickery items that could produce some.
Father was well, but is tired and looks frail, turns 89 on Thursday and still misses my mother a lot. This mess could not have happened at a worse time, but is a blessing my mother didn't have to experience it...wouldn't have understood a bit of it and would have been super high-risk.
