If one goes to the 'source data' and takes a close look that the county-by-county statistics for Minnesota a number of things immediately jump out. Keep in mind that as of yesterday's data there have been 47346 'cases' and 1548 'deaths':

- The median number of cases for the 87 counties is 95.
- The median number of deaths for the 87 counties is (hold on to your hats) 1.
- 38 counties have yet to report a CV-19 death.
- Only 13 counties have 10 or more deaths total.
- Two-thirds of all mortality in the state are in Hennepin and Ramsey counties.

State-wide mandates are not only harmful they're completely pointless.

And it all started with the lock up of citizens...which failed because all it did was punish citizens, ruin lives, jobs and the economy...and created death camps for the elderly...

You guys(gals, sorry Pan, BTW how's hubby) crack me up. You cannot buy anything here without a mask on. Hell I can't buy a newspaper at 7-11 without one on. Biz are all afraid of fines.

BTW, when I went to him in the hospital, I knew if I didn't mask up I wouldn't be allowed in. BUT, now, just being masked isn't good enough; NO, now they insist you wear their mask. "The hospital wants (hospitals have wants?) everyone wearing our masks."

Which is an admission that the cloth ones everybody else uses is an even bigger joke than the hospital ones...and the hospital has the only somewhat legit excuse in that patients not C-19 positive could be at risk if C-19 positive visitor/staff wheezed/coughed/sneezed on them. In the general population it is overkill because most at-risk people are not running amok in public...and mandating masks inhibits herd immunity! Grrrr!!!!!!!!!!

Glad Gunsmith doing well, it's stressful when loved ones are ill, but at this time...a real PITA.

Yeah, paper mask handed to me in an unopened/flat paper bag. As for anyone possibly being at risk in the hospital, I encountered no one who was not staff (no other visitors) and no one not masked. So, if, as they say *snort* masks are effective at preventing infection, that shoulda/woulda/coulda negated the risk factor and -- speaking of which, if their friggin mask mandate was effective, what's with the six-foot rule?

High-risk areas are only - Hospitals where C-19 positive patients are cared for (typically a reserved floor/wing/converted space/ed-Obs overflow etc) where higher protocols of PPE & DeCon procedures are in place...and Nursing Homes...(couild make a case for morgues & labs but they have infection proticals anyway, so...) the rest is 100% complete undiluted undeniable BS!

The fact that she exempted all gummint workers tells you all you need to know about the mask mandate hoax.

So, whatever fckhead currently rules Broward has decided people need to mask up in their houses and force everyone else inside to do so as well.
