So the race war is finally upon us.
The blinds are drawn away and the truth revealed. It isn't about equal justice or relief from systemic authoritarian abuse (although those things persist in a fine dusting). No, it is all about power. The Professional race-baiters recognized that the signs were right to make their play to seize the reins of control. They sensed the upheaval in the dhimmicrat party and the virtual total fecklessness of the pubbies and said, "Now is our time".
I cannot recall a time in my life when more people have acted as foolishly as they have in the last 5-6 months. I'm reminded of the aphorism about "keeping one's head when all around them are losing theirs" and recalling that it was supposed to be a metaphor - not literal reality.
At every level government is failing us. The local government here is virtually non-existant. No one has seen the mayor in weeks and without a functional newspaper the public has zero idea what is going on.
ControllaVirus has consumed every bit of our state government. They're expending every resource they have to find new ways to restrict the public from normal functions. Nothing about recovery, it's all about containment. And not containment of disease - only containment of population.
Speaking of disease - BLM has been released into the wild and, absent anyone to stop it, it is spreading like wildfire. I remember a scene in the movie Andromeda Strain where the scientists studying an epidemic proposes a potential plan to eradicate the disease. At the moment of implementation the team realizes (too late) that their plan won't kill the virus - it will cause it to expand exponentially. Chaos ensues, fade to black.
That is where we are with respect to BLM. It is a disease which is toxic to the body, everybody knows this is true, but no one is doing anything to arrest its explosive growth. Everyone is nervously looking the other way and praying that they just go away, even whild they know that they aren't going anywhere. In fact, Big Business is feeding it in the (hopelessly myopic) hopes that the disease will leave them alone. Of course it won't. The disease eagerly, mindlessly,
relentlessly, gorges itself on the supplications and offerings even while it burns and consumes the host. By the time y'all admit that I'm right it will be too late to save the host.
