Chas Freeman above is good. I had him on more. He said more about the Israelis and he believes that Israel is desperate to drag the US more into the war. Hamas and Hezbollah have been very restrained in their actions so far. E.g. no assassination attempts on Israeli cabinet while Israel is trying to escalate.

Israel and the US are increasingly isolated. Much  of the world does not like what Israel is doing. Most of the Arab world leaders do not care about the Palestinians but their people do.

By who?  Scumbags?  WGAF?

If Finns had invaded a small Russian border town, murdered men, women and children...raped women and girls...slaughtered babies and skittered back across the border with captives they would rape, torture and kill...would Russia be isolated for daring to respond?

No fvcking way!

Isolated...WTF, why you carrying tainted terrorist water?

And if this is true...

...the effect will be an immediate escalation and probably see the US engage Iran directly and then everybody drops the gloves...

I had no idea there were EMP bombs other than nukes.

People like Chas Freeman and Alastair Crooke are former good diplomats.
Freeman above does not divide conflicts into good guys vs bad guys. He was former US ambassador to Saudi Arabia.  He reports on shifting factions.

I am not carrying water for Hamas. Here is my summary of the middle east
Sh*t happened.
More and worse sh*t is likely to happen.
What is likely to happen?
The enemy gets a vote.
What I think does not matter and changes nothing.
Other people in the world think different things and what do has consequences.
Chas Freeman is good at reporting this stuff at a diplomatic level. He is not allowed on the MSM.

Doesn't have to be a bomb...but can be, see e-bombs under "NNEMP" -

Even Wiki gets this one right - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electromagnetic_pulse

Also, since reporters often do not understand or properly vet scientific stuff...there is the possibility they could be looking at something like a DEW, specifically in the microwave band that can really eff up electronic gear.  US, UK, Russia, Israel etc all have a variety of devices in this field, and I do not doubt China, North Korea & Iran have as well.

Plus, who knows what folks are doing in pulsed power...store enough and release at once in the shortest span possible and enormous power could be released.

Plasma hold better promise than particle beam as the latter has thermal and electrical blooming issues.

Anyway, I think here we are liekly looking at e-bombs and microwave based weapons.

Well, there's the problem right there...

There are bad guys..we can argue over degree but denying there are bad guys is akin to saying all people are good no matter what they do or say or all people are evil no matter what they do or say or saying that everybody doesn't matter at all.  That's insane.  That's the very description of Nihilism!  I reject such immoral, anti-knowledge meaninglessness!  I totally declare that as fundamentally Evil.

I never said there is no good vs evil. I prefer to first figure out what is going on, who the players are, what they think, what they are likely to do next. When Chas Freeman was involved with Nixon in China it does not mean he was a pro CCP simp. When he  was US ambassador to Saudi Arabia hopefully he could explain their internal politics to the US govt. Alastair Crooke has worked as UK diplomat and done work in hostage negotiations.

Freeman tries to explain why each party did or did not do something. Israel was sitting across the table from a Hamas negotiator and just snuffed him. Why? What was Israel trying to do?

You say there is good and evil, yet equate a Hamas terrorist with another nations (average?) diplomats?  Seriously?

I never equated anything. The enemy gets a vote.
Israel just moved a apiece on the game board. Freeman will analyze the move and try to predict the enemy's next move.
Israel snuffed the guy on the other side of the negotiating table. I think negotiating hostage release.

If I heard right, he was not even a fighter but maybe a Muslim holy man or some such.
Many people say Netanyahu is not interested in the hostages. That fits.

Many people think Israel is doing what they can to provoke a massive response so Israel can drag the US into the conflict more.

Your "hostage negotiator" was safely ensconced in Qatar egging Hamas on in their fight against Israel,  raking in millions that was supposed to go to the Palestinian people,  until he decided to visit his overlords in Iran--big mistake.
Iran is the largest sponsor of terrorism in the world with their funding of Hamas,  Hezbollah,  and the Houthi rebels, which Israel recently put a big smack-down on.
If Iran follows through with the Ayatollah's threat of a "direct hit" on Israel,   Israel will then have reason to take out the  head of the snake--the Ayatollah--with another precision strike.

Yup.

And as for the equating, Pat...you did not qualify Freeman's equating as something you disagreed with...so by default it appears you agreed with the characterization...

From scanning headlines, it looks like they took him out using a pre-planted bomb and waited for him to stay there.

So they knew beforehand exactly where he would be staying when visiting Iran,  sneaked a bomb in there to be remotely detonated whenever he went in,  knew when he was present,  then BOOM-all within enemy territory?  Can't get anymore "precise" than that.  What ya wanna bet the Ayatollah is having his AO's scoured for pre-placed bombs even as we type. ::laughonfloor::
Notice how when Hezbollah sent those missiles into Israel killing 12 children they immediately denied having any responsibility.  That's because they realized they had just sh!t in their own mess kit.  And as if Israel couldn't determine the origin of the missiles...muzzies puh-lease.
BOOM
Another precision strike on their leader in Beirut.
Iran's Ayatollah should take note--he could be next if he gets too froggie.

I was listening to Jesse Kelly this week (as I do most every week-night). Kelly said a team of "workmen" were doing their handyman thing -- except one of them was a Mossad agent. He/she wired the device & then . . . .they . . . waited . . .

I'm pretty sure the Mahdi Death Cultists running that nation into extinction won't ever learn their lessons properly, sure, they'll tighten security yadda yadda yadda...but they won't stop doing stupid sh*t and they'll keep getting spanked...

I would up the pressure on them, make them spend more on their own defense and less support for their proxies...

If they won't leave peacefully...I'd be OK violently kicking them out...

PS-Do people know what life is like in Israel?  Here, we get the odd Amber Alert when a POS nabs a child (yet they don't go off for traffickers and Epstein Clients) where in Israel the citizens get Incoming Alerts for rockets, missiles and suicide bombers practically daily...

https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/hezbollah-aligned-newspaper-urges-rockets-tel-aviv

Iran-backed Hezbollah wants to see Lebanon burn.  Fine with me!

As for this...

https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/israel-strikes-airbase-central-syria-known-house-russian-troops

...if Russians are stupid enough to be around an area used by scumbags to launch attacks on Israel and the US in the region then so sad too bad...

It's like stupid Americans in Ukraine...don't be surprised what you get!

This "change" bs is a bit of a stretch...

https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/us-hints-regime-change-tehran-if-israel-attacked

...the corrupt compromised FJB regime has a horsesh*t reputation in the world and most know it has a lot more bark than bite...there might be some bite if Iran goes to crazy...guess we'll see...

And this...

https://www.zerohedge.com/military/twelve-f-22-stealth-fighters-reportedly-inbound-middle-east

...is confirmed a few times over.  And, interestingly...it happens after Russia shuttles a bunch of heavy-lift transports (IL76TD's) in/out of Tehran...indicating the Russian arms (S-300's/S-400's) for Iranian drones (for use in Ukraine) dealing is reaching a fever pitch.  Russians also seem to be stepping up flights in/out of Communist China.

Looks like everybody is expecting an up-tick in kinetic activity in the Middle East.

Other areas looking sketchy too...last Tuesday Monkey tracked nuke sniffers around Okinawa and South America (yesterday he tracked them over DC area 2 days prior)...stepped up activity in Middle East (he tracked flights he thought were F22's before knowing for sure, and the whole Eastern Med is one big NOTAM) and Hawaii area...usual heavy monitoring of Europe from Ukraine to North Sea (and disturbingly Monkey cited a Newsweek story that says US tactical nukes are in Ukraine, which if true is totally batshyt effing insane!
Paired with Russians saying tactical nuke use on their own territory if it becomes necessary just makes this all so much more insane!)...and we already know Russians are advising Houthis in Yemen, they also had their top Defense officials in Tehran recently...

Monkey, who with his USAF background and defense contractor background saw something interesting Wednesday....B52 flights off the coast of SoCal where USN does a lot of exercises...he found that curious and some USN vessels were in area too, which by itself isn't unusual, but BUFFs in the area at the same time?  If I had to guess maybe they are training them up for use in a CCP invasion on Taiwan.

Looks like everybody is all-in on WWIII.  If only 2020 wasn't hacked jacked and rolled...

F22s to middle est? I thought the US did not send them to conflict zones where they might get shot shot down and captured. I must be wrong.
