Not to make lite of the suffering and hardship...but ahh, when isn't New Orleans and surrounding low-lying areas not in distress during any storm?

And yet people are always seen doing stupid stuff and treating the storms lightly...
There would be less rescues...if people were not stupid.
The clips speak for themselves...that last one...a lithium loaded vehicle...in a habitual flood zone...

I recall years ago there was a proposal to pay every resident of New Orleans (or parts of it?) $40K to leave rather than rebuild.
Not enough graft possible so it was killed.
