The video was good. I did not know much of this. They sent maybe 13 vessels to Venus.
They learned that the less time spent in the atmosphere the better.
So no parachute landing.
They learned that one vessel crash landed but still sent out pictures.
So they used an air brake like a large ring washer to get it to ground faster.
I recall it sent photos for an hour or two despite crushing pressures and high temperatures maybe 900 deg F enough to melt lead?
