A bipartisan group of U.S. senators on Tuesday revived an ambitious budget plan that could provide new ideas for breaking the impasse in Congress over raising the nation's credit limit by August 2.

Another tax increase I'm sure - we need to defeat the repubs that sign on to this stuff.....

I don't see how it's possible to interpret, "$1.2 trillion in new revenues," as anything other than tax increases.

They just want to run for the exits and start bullsh*tting the American people this is the best they could do!



That narrative is a steaming pile, but far be it from me to expect the idiots across America to recognize the best a fvcking coward can do and the best a person of good character and conscience can do!

If this goes through it is an epic fail!

Mark Levin was absolutely livid about this at the beginning of his show.  Even more livid than usual.

ETA:  I just heard him say, "Wow!  I can't pick my own light bulb but I get to pick a Senator?  Cool!"   ::hysterical::

I know; I was/am listening.  I'm about as livid as he.  I have to say that for the first time, this evening, after contemplating what the Republicans are in the process of doing, it seems we are actually going to have Obamacare fully implemented and definitely imposed on us, and we'll be trying to deal with that on top of the coming crash.  That adds despair to the rage.

At this point I think we need a full crash and reset.  I hope the crash comes before Obamacare is implemented.  That could turn out to be a blessing in disguise.

Countries that already have socialized medicine will have a harder time trying to reconstitute a private system from the ruins.
