Ronaldus Maximus is smiling from heaven.
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

If assisting the "rebels for democracy" was wrong, this is the ultimate wrong of this involvement.
We essentially made truce with Libya when he turned his weapons over to Bush and we betrayed
that truce.  Of course, we did it for good cause - democracy in the middle east.

So let me get this all straight...

When Bush got Saddam it was a capture and turn over to Iraqi's for trial and execution, and the Left was loath to give any credit to Bush because it was an illegal undeclared war on someone (they said) didn't do anything to deserve it.

But now Obama snuffs Osama and should be hailed for it and there are no photos released and then Daffy gets popped and pics are coming out and Obama is to be praised for snuffing a leader we went after in an illegal undeclared war?

Some might think this Administration and its cheerleaders are completely effed in the head!

Witness the Islamic takeover of Libya and the Obama Regime's eagerness to throw millions of our taxpayer dollars to these thugs and you know they are completely effed in the head!

Death of a Bad Dude:Kaddafi’s Removal, 30 Years Late?

By Dr. Paul Kengor

October 21, 2011
Quote

“I will not here add to reports of how Kaddafi met his final fate, but I would like to share a valuable piece of information that was revealed to me by Bill Clark, Ronald Reagan’s right-hand man and national security adviser when Kaddafi was ramping up in the 1980s…. It was early 1981. President Reagan had just been inaugurated. Alexandre de Marenches, the director of France’s external intelligence agency, SDECE, came to the White House with a highly sensitive plan to remove Kaddafi.”

In “Death of a Bad Dude: Kaddafi’s Removal, 30 Years Late?” (782 words), professor of political science and executive director of The Center for Vision & Values at Grove City College—Dr. Paul Kengor—reveals: “Intelligence sources I consulted confirmed Clark’s recollection of de Marenches’ request…. Alas, such action by Reagan would indeed have been illegal, and was not the mission or foreign-policy plan of his incoming administration. Had Reagan started his presidency by violating an executive order on assassinations, liberals in that post-Watergate/post-Vietnam Congress would have run him out of town with impeachment papers before his historic two-term takedown of the Evil Empire could commence. Reagan did what he could—or couldn’t.”
