Mexican officials will ask the U.S. Senate to create a registry of all commercialized firearms in border states, which includes California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas.

Quote
Mexico says it will make it easier to trace guns used in violent attacks.

So, "Mexico is asking for a registry of US guns."?

Yah, that's gonna happen.

I can make it even easier for them to trace guns used in violent attacks. I refer them to one Eric Holder, one Barack Obama, and one gaggle of jack booted bureaucrats at the ATF.

Case solved.

The guilty never get punished.  Too bad Mexico is barking up the wrong tree, they learned absolutely nothing from Gunwalker, so I can only conclude they are conspiring with the asshats in the Regime, it appears neither country gives a damn about its people, laws or common decency.

Welcome to the statist world order.

Now that the Democrats are stirring blood in the water, the entire world is going to be gunning for our 2nd Amendment rights. They'll call gun confiscation and regulation a human right.
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."

And the world will unite saying the exact opposite. We should be prepared for that onslaught.

They're a bunch of chickenhawks. Their confiscation fantasies are dependent on the idea that there will always be "somebody else" tasked with doing the confiscation. Those somebody elses will quickly find themselves having a hard time finding volunteers.

I look for them to just 'eliminate' targets along with a fictional story for probable cause.

And after they've done enough of those, it's not going to be gun nuts holed up in their homes they have to worry about during their no-knock SWAT raids. It's going to transition to a new dynamic where patriots start actively hunting and engaging them....at times and places of the patriots' choosing.

Great, but I'm wondering about the gathering of information by the patriots. If Unca Shuga does control the internet as they want (which the probably will by that time), how will we find out when this crap starts?

I'm guessing in such a scenario we'd figure it out when people simply start disappearing. Word of mouth also has a pretty long history of subverting efforts to control information. The Russians had their samizdat publications in the USSR. They also knew what had happened when Mr. So-and-so across the street was suddenly not there anymore.

Ultimately though, we're all guessing and speculating. We're moving into uncharted waters as a country. It's damn disconcerting.
