Grok says she was born in 1988 so she was around 7 years old. At 17:30 she says she was taught daily that Russia was the source of all their problems and kept them down. Young people there believe this.

I previously posted a video from a guy who was a Ukrainian native speaker who lived in Kiev and went to university there.The said the decision for Ukrainian to be independent was based in part on a 1990 table that ranked Ukraine compared to Great Britain, Germany, France and Italy. in 13 areas of industrial and agricultural production. I recall recently some guy was detained for selling a Russian language book. Selling a Russian language book printed in Russia has been illegal since 2021. The govt said they would not prosecute him if he promised not to do it again.

Kiev govt has been renaming streets etc. and renaming Ukr language loan words from Russian.
I read they were going to create a new coin to replace the Ukr Kopeck because Russians have Kopecks.

Up top 2023 Kiev said they had disposed of 10 million Russian language books by pulping them The goal was 100 million.

I think Kiev has seized 1500 Ukr orthodox churches. Especially old people are devastated.
