Everything is so over-filtered, normalized, and plastic sounding now.  I can't remember the last time I heard popular music with raw vocal talent, certainly not Top 40 stuff anyway.  Of course, I quit paying attention to popular music after high school.  I decided to go ahead and make the grumpy old man transition early.
