I literally just had a lady in my business, mexican, who was so excited about becoming a citizen and she had a few more months. She wants to see all come in legally and hates the idea she is lumped in with the illegals.

That's great; she wants to become a citizen.  Why?  Does she want to become a self-reliant -- as in non-looter -- assimilated American (as we used to know it), or will she be a Mexican-American, hanging her Mexican flag out?

Sorry Don; I have become a cynic even about the ones who want to come legally because being American seems to mean less to them than being able to legally access our "opportunities".  And don't get me started on chain-migration.

Why I stated we need to understand who to send the message. If it ends up just 30% of the mexican immigrants, so be it....But we need people like her to convince the others. She hates the republican capitulation and believes the American dream, which she is here achieving, is lessened when we make our border porous and our country "cheap". ( her word)

I had a good conversation with her. She is who we need to reach AND RECRUIT. She wants to be an AMERICAN. Hell, she wants to go as far as to change her name.

All I know is we better learn how to reach out...and not how the libs do it and the pubbies want to do it.

We need story tellers.

Tom Tancredo asserts Republicans must remind immigrants why they’re here

Maybe one Republican response to the “Latino vote problem” ought to be to remind our first and second generation Latino citizens why they or their grandparents made that arduous journey in the first place. Do they really want to support a political party that seeks to transform the United States into a country that resembles the place they fled?

Why shouldn’t a debate over the “Dream Act” include a debate over the future prospects for keeping that dream alive? ...

We have the perfect storm.......Mexico is sending us all their unwanted, we are giving them free stuff and those who may immigrate are staying home.

Well as Mexico continues to unload their undesirables, perhaps that means Mexico will become progressively more attractive. Maybe we should start a movement of border hopping to our south.

Before the Cartels took over Mexico was a very attractive country, its honest citizens are good people.  One thing about their laws though, foreigners can't own real property.
But you were hospitably welcomed as a guest.

Well this is disturbing but not surprising.
According to inside sources no shots were fired by State Department security personnel on the night of the 9-11 attack in Benghazi.
Kerry Pickett at Breitbart News reported:

[blockquote] A source with personal knowledge of the security situation in Benghazi told Breitbart News that Senators who listened to closed door testimony about the Benghazi attack were shocked to learn State Department security personnel agents were not immediately armed.

Additionally, agents separated from Ambassador Chris Stevens left to retrieve their M4 weapons in a separate building. Only one returned to protect the Ambassador, while the other two hunkered down in the barracks, the source relayed.

Perhaps Stevens outlived his usefulness to the Regime, and when he was cut loose those around him were obviously discarded as well...

"Congressman Jason Chaffetz (R- UT) told Breitbart News on Wednesday that he has been “thwarted” by the State Department from seeing any Americans who survived the deadly attack on the U.S. diplomatic mission in  Benghazi."

Well sure, if you want to screen them and find out what they know it is a lot easier to save the ones who know nothing and oh schucks we lost a couple due to medical complications...

This is so turd-world thugishness!

Grow a set Jason, threaten whovever you have to and get to them!

But it's probably too late anyway...

Not surprising to see the Saudi connection, and having anything to do with Turkey or why the latter is NATO or we with them...?  This reads like a nightmare spy novel gone bad.  Not surprising to see Iranian backed militants behind the mayhem either, in proxy wars showing your hand or theirs is considered bad form and people who know better and should speak out are typically dealt with harshly or go missing.  If people we were running a proxy war for Saudis and running guns to whack jobs there is no way in Hell Obama and his regime would still be standing, but all we get from...well Hell we have no side...is petty political machinations!  I guess the Pubbies think getting Rice denied the SecSt job is a win for America, the latter being stuck with the lying traitor Jean F'n Kerry instead.  Winning?  Not even close!  So Stevens & co get snuffed to cover the trail and tyranny and lawlessness continues unabated.  Explain to me how this helps America or keeps our people safe?  The number of heads that should roll over this is astronomical.  Welcome of ObamaWorld.  They all can go straight to Hell!

The term "unfit" comes to mind...

But she was unfit coming in, so...

ETA -

Well, her stunt achieved the desired outcome -

The weak-minded spineless Pubbies don't even have the sense to send staffers over there to deposition her and get her "I don't recall, my mind is like J-E-L-L-O" BS on record.

I can't imagine that little boy beating anyone down, but he might have had his thugs do it  ;)

http://www.cnn.com/2012/12/15/us/us-hillary-clinton-concussion/index.html?hpt=hp_t2

Jodi Seth, spokeswoman for Sen. John [Fartnoy] Kerry,...
said in a statement that Clinton would not testify before that committee Thursday.

"Secretary Clinton's team contacted Senator Kerry this morning to inform them of the Secretary's concussion. Senator Kerry was relieved to hear that the Secretary is on the mend, but he insisted that given her condition, she could not and should not appear on Thursday as previously planned, and that the nation's best interests are served by the report and hearings proceeding as scheduled with senior officials appearing in her place," Seth said.

Clinton's team tells Kerry she has a concussion and he says he's glad she's on the mend; however, Kerry thinks she should stay home and rest. Don't worry, I'll cover for you. Mrs. Clinton responded, yes daddy.

ETA:

Weasel says:

You don’t think this has something to do with her not wanting to hurt her chances in 2016, do you?

Actually I thought it was because she or someone else in the administration being convicted was the reason but realistically that's just too naive.
