If there is any justice left to be had in this world an epic amount of pain should befall this SCoaMF and everyone in his lawless Regime!!!

'Gestapo' tactics meet senior citizens at Yellowstone

NEWBURYPORT — Pat Vaillancourt went on a trip last week that was intended to showcase some of America’s greatest treasures.

Instead, the Salisbury resident said she and others on her tour bus witnessed an ugly spectacle that made her embarrassed, angry and heartbroken for her country.

Vaillancourt was one of thousands of people who found themselves in a national park as the federal government shutdown went into effect on Oct. 1. For many hours her tour group, which included senior citizen visitors from Japan, Australia, Canada and the United States, were locked in a Yellowstone National Park hotel under armed guard.

The tourists were treated harshly by armed park employees, she said, so much so that some of the foreign tourists with limited English skills thought they were under arrest.

Does anyone care to try to justify this outrage?    >:(

Thought not.

The thing is:

1) No reporter will ever ask the administration, let alone the president, about this and even if they did dare to ask,

2) The administration will just lie about it...say that it never happened or that, if it did happen, it must have been Ted Cruz who did it and then,

3) The press will dutifully take notes and report it verbatim.

So.

Here we are.

The president recently said (referring to Congress) "We don't do those sorts of things in America". And, in fairness, the president himself has done some things in America that we don't do in America.

Now obviously there are things we do do in America and things we don't do in America. Perhaps a good strategy for dealing with these 2 categories would be:

  • Answer things we do do in America with things we do in America, and
  • Answer things we don't do in America, with things we don't do in America.
2 Timothy 1:7
For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but of power & of love and of calm, a well-balanced mind, discipline and self-control.

Hanh?!  Nevermind.

There are things we do in America that haven't been done in some time in America that definitely need doing in America ... right THE HELL NOW.

But the thing with the seniors on the bus @ Yellowstone was truly despicable. Someone needs to be held accountable for this stuff. Someone gave the order for this to happen and they need to be held accountable. Several someones followed those orders, orders which should have been disregarded by anyone with even a shred of decency, and they need to be held accountable. If I knew someone personally who was involved with this situation I would not be able to associate with them ever again. They would be unfriended for realsies.

Foreigners are now regarding the USA the same way you would a banana republic, and they're not far off the mark either. It's 2 parts anger, 1 part embarrassment for me. Imagine you spend thousands of dollars, travel across an ocean to visit this country and that's what you are subjected to.

We say it almost every day here, but man this is really not our country anymore. I never thought it possible it could change this rapidly. I mean it has changed significantly just since 2008 in the demeanor, the vibe, the posture. I don't recognize it in many ways.

Reflect on the fact that to Obama and his enablers, this is their "Mission Accomplished" moment: to bring America down, make it an insignificant also-ran, a laughingstock, a pariah. And it's only going to get worse with every new day. Realize that every day is probably the best it's going to be, with every day thereafter progressively worse. All on purpose. All by design.

Oh and by the way, is it starting to make a little more sense now why all these unlikely government agencies have been buying up millions of rounds of ammo?

Always made sense, was never a mystery, just now seeing the plan put into action.

People over seas really do see us as a joke, now.  Three years ago my wife's friends would feel me out, mention Obama, hear me say NO, and really not get it, because they had the same fawning media coverage we had.

Now?  I'd get the initial feel out and then the floodgates would break loose.  My wife has a lawyer friend that's as up on things here as we are, and sees things the same way.  It's fascinating listening to him compare contrast with where the Philippines is moving under a very Bush like leader, to us moving in the opposite direction.   You pick up the Manila Bulletin and read story after story about corrupt politicians getting busted, thanks to a societal push to clean up their politics.  Here?  Well, on CBS News I learned who the sexiest woman alive, is.  I did not see any stories about the monument shut downs.  I actually had to watch the BBC in Hong Kong, as my only other choices were Russia Today, CCTV, and Al-Gorezeera.  They're laughing at us on the BBC, literally.

Yes, they know we're turning into a banana republic.  No, they're not gloating, in Asia anyway.  They don't want to see us do that just as we here don't want to see it, as our banana republic actions have been jerking around their markets, also.

I agree with Trap.  Anyone of those park police (whatever they are) could decide this is BS and I'm not doing this to my fellow citizens.  Yes, he might lose his job but he might also find others agree and they're waiting for a leader too.

I saw a picture last year from WWII.  It was of men (whom I assume were Nazis) leading a large group of citizens down a street.  The people were dressed as if they were going out for a walk. The picture really bothered me.  I felt sad for the people as they had no idea what their fate was going to be but I was bothered more by the men leading them.  They weren't dressed in uniforms and looked like the other people except they walked away from the group and were obviously leading them down the street.

I bet everyone of them would've said they were just doing their job.

Each thing BO gets away with is a prerequisite for the next thing.

Had I been the bus driver I would have forced the evil Park Ranger to either shoot or call for reinforcements all the while telling the seniors to keep their videos rolling.  Can you imagine if that Ranger pulled the trigger?  That would have been our Bunker Hill.

Merged for the sake of tidiness and continuity; IDP
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good citizen, but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation. To lose our country by a scrupulous adherence to written law, would be to lose the law itself, with life, liberty, property and all those who are enjoying them with us; thus absurdly sacrificing the end to the means."
