It was my understanding that Nippon was willing to give the government a voice, basically veto power over any operational decision impacting actual national security concerns...which seems to confirm the purely political decision by the jello-headed lame duck FJB...

Plus, Japan is an ally...not like it's being run by Chi-Com's or Venezuelan's or crap like that!
