Straight from Doug Emhoff's mouth:

"Kamala did what Kamala always does; she just put her head down and . . . went to work!"

Cop told him cats are not allowed to get driver's licenses.

That was literally me in the 1980's during summer break when my old boss called me and asked me if I wanted my video store job back for the summer as there was no one capable of giving her a break.  I'm like, flipping burgers part time or working in a mall full time...twist my arm.

Did restaurant stuff as a kid (sucked), factory work (better, but sucked)...but never fast-food places...first job was a paper route, talk about cheap slave labor...but I was outside (which at times could suck) which was better...best job was mowing/trimming our family church's grounds...

Last job I had before going into the Navy...cook on the graveyard shift at a Sambo's, remember those?

A friend of mine--a 'Nam vet--was a cook in the Navy.   Originally assigned some other occupational field (radio and communications,  I think),  he actually requested to be a cook,  and so they accommodated him.  He loved it.  He was assigned to a tanker ship that did regular runs from Subic to 'Nam carrying fuel.
Before retiring (in civilian life),  he ran his own BBQ restaurant.
Having done restaurant work in high school and mess duty in the service,  I agree with you--sucky work and sucky hours.
One good thing about it though,  in the service,  not too many folks gonna give a ration of sh!t to anyone who feeds them,  officers or enlisted.

Not unless (enlisted) want odd protein in their food or (officers) spills on their uniform...

Personally I cannot comment on the latter...

He should come out in favor of zero slurs in nomenclature, including names: making him Penis Van Lesbian.
