I know Mark Levin rips him all the time, and makes a point of referring to him by his real name, Michael Wiener.  He's one of those populist blowhards and the O'Reilly comparison is pretty accurate.  I have not played the embarrassing segment, but have read people's accounts of it, how he alleges that carrying a pistol with a round in the chamber is somehow proof of nefarious intent. What a moron. He clearly doesn't know WTF he is talking about.

I never cared much for him...he always struck me as someone who is too enamoured with the sound of their own voice...in that the O'Reilly comparison works as well, but Wiener seems to be more grating than O'Reilly, the latter being more condescending than grating.

Whatever, Wiener/Savage has demonstrated he is a clueless 2nd Amendment hating punk no different in my mind than Bloomberg or any left-wing trash!

He claims that no law enforcement officer would have shot Martin had he found himself in the same predicament.

He claims that no law enforcement officer would have just shot Martin to begin with (when Martin attacked Zimmerman).

He claims that law enforcement officers get beaten up all the time.

He claims to know what thoughts and intentions Zimmerman had (premeditated murder) based on the "round in the chamber" issue.

He claims that if there was no round chambered that Zimmerman could have escaped while Martin was trying to load the gun to kill him.

He ignores the fact that Martin had returned to attack Zimmerman after having successfully made it home.

He claims that a free person is required to obey commands given them by a 911 dispatcher (even when no such command..."retreat"...was given).

He claims that Zimmerman left his car to pursue Martin on foot after he was commanded to stay in his car.

He claims ownership and intimate familiarity with the weapon used and yet is completely wrong about every detail of the gun.

It goes on and on.

It's like someone twisted the stupid dial on his back all the way to eleven.

Heh, stupid dial, like that one.  But yes, very complete summary.  I'd love to hear you call in and itemize them to him directly...but even if you got through I bet he would cut you off before you go two lines in and demonize you as a gun-crazy trigger-happy Zimmerman-loving whack job.

Hey, I have been called much much worse than that!  And guess what, it never made me wrong either!

Savage Nation?

Stupid Nation!

I'd love to hear you call in...

That's a sucker's game. It's their show and they run it the way they want. Limbaugh is at least honest enough to admit that the purpose of a caller is to make the host look good.

That Savage is as popular as he is while being a mostly very stupid person is a sad indictment on "conservative" radio talk show listeners. He certainly isn't racking up the ratings with lefties.

But his opinion on Zimmerman's guilt is a new level of stupid heretofore not witnessed in media that I am aware of.

Also, do not hear everybody...but have not heard (or heard of) any nominal rightward talk-jock talk as stupid as the Savage Wiener...

A lot of people are ready for this show trial to be over. I would include myself in that group. He isn't guilty. Everyone knows it.

It's been fun to watch the prosecution step on their...umm...well, never mind. And I would feel sorry for Zimmerman being put through this (and I do to some extent) but you know he is going to end up making a bundle via lawsuits against the likes of MSNBC et al.

At least it hasn't dragged on like the OJ travesty.

On a related topic: Bob Beckel decided to do a little Savage plagiarism.

Everyone would be well advised to be prepared when going about your daily business, perhaps a bit more so than usual.  We could see spontaneous "teens" rioting in cities across the country.

Hopefully they don't wanna play the "knockout game" with me. I've been practicing the "blow yer head off if you try to knock me out" game. I gotchyer justice for Trayvon right here, boy.

If I was the mayor of Sanford I would immediately confer a "Citizen of the Year" award on George Zimmerman.

I like being clear in my communications (if you catch my drift).

Yes.  I was thinking about my folks whose "community" has "vibrant" elements.  I think I'm going to call Mom, if he's acquitted, and tell her to stick to the house that day.

Anybody given any thought to the idea that even if he's convicted their "celebration" will resemble the riot they're threatening?

Yup.

Yeah I've thought about that too.  Not unlike when some sports team wins a championship.
